Who I am

My name is Peter Wright, but most people call me Pete. In the past, I’ve worked with companies like JB Hi-Fi and Geeks2U, musicians like Mumford & Sons and Hillsong, and local businesses like The Horse and Futureflip.

For the better part of a decade I’ve been building websites for businesses of all different shapes and sizes, with a special focus on the construction industry.

I’m a big believer in a minimalist design approach. I like to keep things clean and simple, allowing my clients’ amazing work to speak for itself.

In my spare time, you’ll find me hanging out with my wife and two sons, watching sport or working on my side business, Blackbird Drum Company, where I design and manufacture beautiful, vintage-style drums.

Since launching Blackbird in 2014, I have built a following of nearly 20k Instagram followers and seen my drums played live and in studio for Mumford & Sons, Hillsong, Jimmy Barnes, Rob Thomas, Lauren Daigle, Hilltop Hoods and Peking Duk, to name a few.
